Linda Mulkey

Operations/Compliance/BSA Team Member

Mrs. Mulkey joined Kendrick Services in March 2023 and quickly became a valued resource across multiple KS audit teams. Her strong attention to detail, combined with her ability to research and interpret regulations and supervisory guidance, makes her well suited to support BSA, Compliance, and Internal Control audits.


Mrs. Mulkey began her compliance career in 2010, serving community banks through TheRodgersFirm (TRF). By 2011, she was independently performing audits, tailoring each engagement to the scope and priorities established by Boards of Directors and senior management. She provided annual Board training as well as ongoing employee training focused on regulatory changes and areas of heightened examiner attention. During her tenure, she earned two professional certifications: ICBA Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer (CCBCO) and ICBA Certified BSA/AML Professional (CBAP). While at TRF, she also supported Kendrick Services from 2015 to 2016.


From 2018 to 2023, Linda served as a Compliance Officer at Randolph‑Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFCU), supporting the Risk Management Team’s second line of defense with a focus on consumer protection regulations and BSA/AML/OFAC oversight. During her tenure, she earned two nationally recognized credentials: NAFCU Certified Compliance Officer (NCCO) and NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO).

 

As Compliance Officer at RBFCU, Linda:

  • Developed and implemented change management projects, established scope, action plans and performed targeted audits for Deposits, Loans, and BSA.

  • Evaluated policy, procedures, and processes to identify risk through testing and addressed areas of weakness.

  • Developed and validated resolution to issues, including implementing process improvement, and monitoring to prevent violations.

  • Maintained the Issue and Change Management Program and provided essential training to ensure 1st line staff are made aware of regulatory risk and adapt to changes in procedures.

  • Scrutinized all marketing proofs to establish compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including UDAAP.
